Become A part of gratitude Performing arts

    Company Performing artist

    Company Artist Overview

As a Company Performing Artist with GPA, one can expect to use their gifts for the Lord and  grow spiritually and physically in a God-honoring environment through daily devotions, weekly Bible studies and a supportive community. GPA Artists will be considered full-time missionaries as they will have weekly commitments to rehearsals, and classes consisting of technique, pointe, contemporary/modern, PBT, cross-training, Bible study and fundraising meetings.

Apart from class commitments, the Company Artist will also have an overflowing amount of outreach and in-reach opportunities through performances, fine-arts camps, workshops and, Lord willing, international travel!

A Company Performing Artist is an experienced and spiritually grounded dancer who is ready to take on greater opportunities. On top of the discipline of daily classes and rehearsals, they will also be in a position to disciple young dancers, teach classes, and pour into their local community. This position is not for perfect people, but for those who trust in God's strength and are committed to growth—both artistically and spiritually. Generally, a Company Performing Artist has previously gone through a Training program, GPA'S Apprentice program or previous professional experience.

If this position seems right for you, please follow the Auditions process below and know we are already praying for you!

    Apprentice Program

    Apprentice Performing Artist Overview

The Apprentice program is designed for advanced to pre-professional dancers aged 17 and older who have graduated from high school. This program supports those pursuing a career in dance while fostering a desire to advance the gospel through storytelling

This unique program allows dancers to participate in part-time company classes, providing them with the opportunity to experience a professional dance environment while still receiving personalized instruction tailored to their tuition classes.

To help dancers thrive in a professional atmosphere, the program also equips them with tools for growth in missions and discipleship. Throughout the program, dancers will follow a four - five day weekly schedule that includes devotions, Bible study, technique classes, pointe, variations, modern/contemporary classes, and rehearsals. They will also have opportunities to shadow our teachers to learn how to manage a classroom, run rehearsals, and gain fundraising insights.

Our goal is to prepare dancers to become Company Artists with GPA or other companies and ministries. However, we prioritize not only their development as talented artists but also as beautiful souls. We pray that these Apprentices will be grounded in their faith, reflecting Christ in every aspect of their lives while confidently standing firm in their calling and purpose knowing their worth and identity are not based on their abilities, but on what Christ has done for them and what He can accomplish through them.

If this program seems right for you, please follow the Auditions process below and know we are already praying for you!
